Jan 3, 2020 There are some minor new scenes, but there are entire plot lines cut. Though it is still a coherent story, and only noticed a single hiccup in the flow. Is not a replacement for the series, you will miss stuff and characters entirely if you only watch this. Can't really recommend watching this instead, as it offers little over the original show, while have reduced content. But is a solid movies in itself. I haven't noticed any differences in the visuals or the sound, and it was something fun to watch. How long does a review have to be? There isn't much to say about this. Go watch ...
May 16, 2018 I'm not a fan of movies that reprise a television series, usually since it's a low-budget way to grab more sales, and I hate playing "Where's Waldo, I mean, the New Content?". Not even if it's polished to a mirror finish by one of my favorite animation studios, upscaled to 8K and 60 frames per second. If I want to be wowed by visuals, I'll watch a Hayao Miyazaki movie.
